Events
Belle Vue members compete in many local races, including Wilmslow Half Marathon, Stockport 10, Salford Womens’ 5K, Sale 5, Sale 10, Salford 10K and Manchester Parks Grand Prix series. We compete in both the Manchester and South East Lancs Cross Country Leagues during the winter.
Competing in these races forms the basis of our twice-yearly Club Championship.
Belle Vue Racers host two races each year. Hit The Trail, a five mile trail race round beautiful Reddish Vale, takes place in early January and in 2012 attracted over 200 runners. The Eddie Cheetham Memorial Race is held in summer at Debdale Park, Manchester. The course is approximately 7K and is part of the Manchester Parks Grand Prix series. The 2012 race takes place on 08/07/12 and entry forms are now available.
